UIDAI OVSE • Aadhaar Verification

FinaSmartKyc

Verify anyone, in under a minute.

Confirm a person's identity through the official Aadhaar app, from any device. Nothing to install, no scanner to buy, and no technical team needed.

By Finahub — trusted by 40+ banks, NBFCs and financial institutions.

Three steps. That's the whole thing.

Works from your branch, your website or your app.

1. Send the request

Your team or your device starts a verification.

2. They confirm

Scan a QR code, or open the Aadhaar app on their phone.

3. You get the details

Verified name, date of birth and more — with consent.

Two ways to use it

Most of our customers never write a line of code.

No technical team needed

Use our dashboard

Sign in and start verifying. We run everything.

  • Nothing to install, nothing to build
  • Works from the front desk, a tablet or a phone
  • Add your own branches and staff, each with their own login
  • Every verification in one place, ready to show an auditor
For teams with developers

Or connect it to your own system

Put verification inside the website or app you already run.

  • On your website — in any browser, desktop or mobile
  • In your mobile app — through our SDK
  • Your customer stays on your brand throughout
  • The same dashboard behind it for your back office

Why teams switch to it

Faster than paperwork, and safer than holding ID copies.

No Aadhaar numbers

No Aadhaar number reaches you. Eliminates the requirement of Aadhaar Data Vault.

No regulatory overhead

No KUA or AUA licence to obtain, and no HSM to buy.

No hardware

No fingerprint or iris scanners to buy.

Works anywhere

Branch, doorstep, website or mobile app.

Audit ready

Every verification logged, with a record you can download.

What you get

A working setup, not a toolkit.

A dashboard your team signs into. Set up your branches, give each member of staff their own login, and watch verifications appear as they happen.

Verify Anywhere, Any Way. Show the QR code on your screen to someone standing in front of you, or send them the link by WhatsApp, SMS, email or a chat message. They open it on their own phone. Nothing to install at their end either.

A record you can hand over. Every verification produces a dated record carrying the photo and the details the person agreed to share. Download it, print it, or keep it on file.

An audit trail. Who verified whom, when, and from which branch, kept as it happened.

Five steps, verified in under a minute: start from the desk or a mobile; show the QR code or send the link by WhatsApp, SMS or email; the person approves it on their own phone after a face check; the verified details appear on your screen; download or print the record.

Integrate it with your business

How it works underneath.

Using our dashboard? None of this is your problem — skip ahead.

Finahub is a UIDAI-registered OVSE (Offline Verification Seeking Entity). Verification runs through the official Aadhaar app: we send a signed request, the person approves it and passes a face check on their own phone, and the app returns a credential signed by UIDAI.

That credential is checked offline. We verify UIDAI's signature against their published signing certificate on our servers. No call is made to a UIDAI server at any point in the flow, so nothing depends on their systems being reachable.

No Aadhaar number is involved. The credential does not carry one, so you receive only the attributes the person agreed to share. Storing Aadhaar numbers is what puts an organisation under UIDAI's Aadhaar Data Vault requirements — an encrypted vault, reference keys standing in for the number everywhere it appears, and the audit obligations that follow. None of that arises here, because there is no number to store.

Two ways to integrate. Put verification on your website, where it runs in any browser on desktop or mobile — or build it into your own mobile app with our SDK. Either way the customer stays inside your product, and the verified result comes back to you.

Deployment. Includes dedicated services for verification and management dashboarding. Available as a fully managed SaaS or deployed directly inside your infrastructure.

FinaSmartKyc architecture: a Core Verification API and a Dashboard platform sharing one database, reached by dashboard users on a desk or mobile and by a client website or mobile app, exchanging a signed verification request and a signed identity credential with the person's Aadhaar app, and verifying that credential against UIDAI's signing certificate.
